Delete Account
This page explains how to delete your Polaris eSIM account and related data, and which data is erased or retained by law after deletion.
1 Option 1: Delete in the App (recommended)
If you have the Polaris eSIM app installed and can sign in, follow these steps to delete your account yourself:
- 1 Open the Polaris eSIM app and sign in to your account.
- 2 Go to the "Account" tab and tap "Settings".
- 3 Tap "Delete Account".
- 4 Enter your current password and type "DELETE" in uppercase as prompted to confirm your identity.
- 5 Check the confirmation box and submit; your account will be deleted immediately.
2 Option 2: Request by Email (if you can't use the App)
If you have removed the app or cannot sign in, you can request account deletion by email:
- Email contact@polaris-esim.tw with "Delete Account" as the subject.
- In the email, include the email address you registered with so we can verify your identity.
- We will verify and process the deletion within 30 days of receiving your request.
3 What to Complete Before Deletion
To protect your interests, if your account has any of the following items in progress, they must be completed before deletion:
- eSIMs in progress: for eSIMs in use or not yet activated, the QR Code cannot be reissued and support cannot look them up after the account is deleted.
- Orders in progress: for unpaid or processing orders, please complete payment or wait until the eSIM has been delivered.
4 Data Erased After Deletion
Account deletion is irreversible. Once completed:
- Your account can no longer be signed in to, and all devices are signed out.
- Personal data (name, email address) is anonymized and erased.
- Linked credit cards and e-invoice carrier settings are permanently deleted.
5 Data Retained by Law
- Order and e-invoice records are not deleted immediately due to accounting and tax retention obligations, but they are fully decoupled from your personal data so they can no longer be linked back to you, and are deleted once the legally required retention period expires.
- eSIMs that have already been issued can still be used on the original device until the data or validity period runs out, but after account deletion they can no longer be topped up or refunded.
